How to get to Brynich

Public Transport

The nearest railway station is Abergavenny Station. There is then a seasonal bus service from the train station to Brynich between April & October.
The bus service also runs to Storey Arms, Cardiff & Merthyr.

Bicycle

National Cycle Route 8 runs along the canal towpath, 5 mins walk from Brynich.


Routes

From the South East (Bristol, Reading, London) head for M4 West and drive to Junction 24. Take A449 to Raglan and A40 to Brecon. From Midlands and North head for M5 south to Junction 8, then M50 and A40 to Brecon.

From South Wales (Cardiff & Bridgend) use the A470 to Brecon. Brynich is situated on the A470, 200 meters from the junction with the A40, 2Km EAST of Brecon.

From the Abergavenny, Ross on Wye & Gloucester follow the A40 to the roundabout just east of Brecon, then take the 3rd exit.

From Hereford, Worcester & the Birmingham area follow the A438 passing Hay on Wye to the A470 & we are on the left just before the Brynich roundabout (A40/A470 junction) on the East side of Brecon.
